I have that funny feeling in my throat--y'know, like there's a small rubber ball stuck inside it*. Blergh. Funny, just earlier today I was noticing that I missed two days of work last year in May when sick.

I don't want to be sick and miss work.

*When I was nine or so I had that kind of sore throat; it was really bad and I was convinced there was actually actually something stuck there.

I realize everyone and their dog has already offered, but if you want a code to start a journal at dreamwidth, I have two three unused codes. Send me a pm with your e-mail or comment here (it's screened).
eta: I need to head back over to my dreamwidth page (same username) and, um, actually do something with it. I'm not sure what, though. But I am planning to add people to my reading list there, so don't feel snubbed if I haven't done it yet.

If I do miss work because I'm sick, I'm definitely going to see X-Men Origins again. Not because it was good, but because I want to write a snarky review of it. Something like this Spider-Man 3 parody. (I can only aspire to be a tenth as funny, but that's okay.)

I totally thought of the writing thing, yes! Heh. (I've been sort of avoiding writing ever since the brain hijack of Rosie Sue/Leoben. I'm scared to start anything new!

So far so good--the throat is still achy, but not bad in the morning. Just sore by the end of the day.
