or let you entertain me, whatever.

We're having state standardized tests for the next two mornings. I was already not fond of this, but now we're being told that we can't read books while acting as test administrators. Huh? I understand that sitting at one's desk, playing on the computer or reading the newspaper are all bad ideas, but reading a book? I can walk around, read a book and monitor a bunch of test-taking sophomores with relative ease. Really. But apparently the ability to read a book and monitor simultaneously has now been called into question. Grrr.

ANYWAY, I figure if I walk around with a notepad and pen I'll look really official. So if you have some idea you think I should write, let me know. If your idea works out in any way, shape or form, however ridiculous, I'll post it as a reply. If not... well, I didn't promise anything, did I? (I think I'm already snagging [livejournal.com profile] pataka02's idea that Sam and Leoben might fight over who's destined to be with Kara, because it makes me laugh. And because I always steal ideas from my f-list, it's tradition by now.)

eta: two comment-fics below

re: the poll yesterday. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that Wyoming with twelve-year-olds really wasn't that bad an option. I'm still checking into it. Also, LJ won't let me vote more than once, even though it's my poll! I think that if it's my poll, I should be able to vote more than once. Heh. Second also, I had no idea I could click and see who voted what. Cool. I'd only voted in one poll before, [livejournal.com profile] natalexx's tee-shirt poll. (Now I want to know if she bought the Shakespeare tee or not. Or maybe I just want to buy one of those tee-shirts myself. Hm.)
