Maybe that should be racing post, as in "I'm racing around trying to get everything done." (False alarm, everyone! Rose doesn't actually have anything racy to say!)

So far I have: gone grocery shopping, cleaned out the front closet (because of a small leak from the AC), highlighted my hair (now my arms hurt), made a pile of stuff to take to Goodwill, made and eaten lunch, um... yeah, I think that's it. Now it's time to drop the stuff off at Goodwill, look for some gold-toned earrings to go with the necklace I bought last week, and go watch the Bourne, erm... something. Bourne Supremacy? Bourne Confederacy? Bourne Plutocracy? Whatever. And dinner, somewhere in there.

Anyway, there was a reason for this post. Some fic recs!

[livejournal.com profile] daybreak777 wrote some BSG ficlets (even a slightly racy one!) and they're here.

[livejournal.com profile] crack_van is reccing fanfics based on Johnny Depp movies this movies. Strange but true. So here's the most recent rec, for a Willy Wonka fic: Lonesome Confectioner Seeks True Love. It's really awesomely funny in an appropriately weird way. (Roald Dahl was a strange guy. BTW I never saw the movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", although I did see "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" when I was little. It terrified my sister, hee!) Crack van also recced a CSI/Chocolate Factory crossover, which I've bookmarked to read later: Death by Chocolate. Even though I haven't read it yet, the very idea just makes me smile.

Harry Potter: I liked this shortish Neville/Luna post-DH fic: The Age of Not Believing.

Firefly/Serenity: a post-movie fic with Zoe discovering she's pregnant. I was hesitant to read it with that description, but it's not shmoopy, it's gorgeous. Good, in the Latin.
