happy book dance
I have new books today! New books! I ♥ books! I ordered: The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie; Twilight by Stephenie Meyer; and the first of the Dresden novels by Jim Butcher. Here's the thing, though: I already have a few unread books sitting by my bedside. When am I going to find the time to read them all? Oh, who cares! I refuse to have book-guilt! New books, yay!
Also received: the double-dvd of Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources. (Have mentioned them before in my favorite movies post.) And the extra-shiny edition of Serenity.

bop_radar's huge list of character study prompts is very inspiring. I wrote a ficlet about Racetrack's backstory here and it seems to have helped me get somewhat unstuck on another Racetrack idea I've been mulling over for ages. (Same problem as with books, though--when am I going to have the time?)
eta: and I really am working on Colorado picspam... slowly. There will be bears. Yes, there will be bears.
