To whomever attempted that remake of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' classic "I Love Rock & Roll"--you, miss, are no Joan Jett.
eta: have been informed it was probably Britney Spears. I am a pop culture ignoramus, but I stand by my statement: Ms. Spears, you are no Joan Jett.

re: watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for a second time
I don't care if it's not described like that in the book, I don't care that it's cheesy and stereotypical to use black and white, I adore that cool ribbon-smoke apparate/disapparate effect that the Deatheaters and the members of the OotP have. IT'S SO MIGHTILY AWESOME! Also, movie-Lucius is still luscious.

re: studying for New Testament Sunday school class this week
Reading Acts chapters 21-28 is rather like reading a really cool action novel. Angry mobs! Close escapes! Fiery speeches! Shipwrecks!

re: my brief opportunity to use Spanish this week
Note to self--practice Spanish more often. That was beyond pathetic.

eta: This story about the squirrel that was NOT hit by a motorcycle is really funny. Srsly.
