one more day

Last night I thought I'd try watching the final version of 'Unfinished Business' while ironing. Apparently it was too soon after seeing the extended cut. As soon as I heard the first whistle for a boxing match, I hit the pause button. Heh. I finally put in a disc from Angel, season three.

I, um... signed up for another ficathon, after swearing I'd wait a long time before doing that again. (Writing the story for femme_fic was really difficult. And someday y'all might actually get to see it and maybe read a post about writing it. They're still not releasing the stories until the replacement writers finish their stories for those who defaulted.) But this writing challenge is different. The femgenficathon lets you choose the female character(s) you write about--you're given a one-sentence quote as a prompt. One thousand words minimum, gen (or mostly gen), due mid-July. I decided I could handle that.
