another bit of TV

Watched Person of Interest pilot episode earlier. Apparently Jim Caviezel playing intense and angry + Michael Emerson (Ben from Lost) playing smart and omniscient = me interested enough to check out episode two when it goes online. Hopefully they'll develop that female character who could be recurring, because otherwise it's quite male-dominated. (The guest star of the week helped in that regard this time around.)

Oh, and Liz's Batman comparison is accurate.

At some point in the last two or three weeks I watched the pilot episode of Homeland. Damian Lewis being American and secretly angry sounded appealing enough, but wow... that was violent and past my level of acceptable weekly grimness. Yikes. Well-acted by Claire Danes and Lewis, though.
