really belated post about Hunger Games movie

Catching up on posting about things that happened in April... and ack, I just realized how late it is. Gonna post this now and fix any spelling mistakes tomorrow.

Long-time friend Kit visited a few weekends ago. She's one of the friends who used to watch the Twilight movies with me, so we could giggle together. It hasn't been the same since she moved away. *sadface* In fact, I still haven't watched Breaking Dawn, part I.

While she was here, we saw The Hunger Games (finally!). Plus we had multiple fannish conversations--mostly Doctor Who, although we ventured into the topic of Castle as well. She knows I know enough about the show to 'get' her fanfic for it, so she made me read some. (Hey, I introduced her to fanfic, so I suppose it's justice? Hee.) In retaliation I made her watch the first episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Someday she'll thank me! Or maybe not--she tends to be a shippy sort of viewer, and unless you're willing to pretend that Sarah Connor and James Ellison live happily ever after sort of cooperatively together in a post-finale world, there's not a lot of un-doomed pairs on the show.
