Yeah, two years between films is part of what led to the current trilogy being such a mess. Add in the directors of Game of Thrones, and the director of TLJ? Eh... I'm not feeling much interest.
AoS: funny, I was never invested in FitzSimmons as a couple. So that wasn't a reason to keep watching, for me anyway. I'm honestly not sure WHY I kept watching. But I'll say that season four was magical; my favorite season by far, especially the first half. But even the second half was tightly plotted and interesting.
(Probably one reason I liked the first half of s4 so well: no Ward. Heh. Not my favorite character, and a few of his fans were... not so fun. So his absence for that set of episodes was GREAT.)
