I may peek at the book again when I'm not swamped; I owe it at least a full chapter before giving up. Sometimes an author's prose just needs a trial for me to warm up to it.

(Also, I really do want to read it, or something else like it; for all their flaws, the people who started our country were some truly exceptional individuals. I'd like to delve into their lives a bit more.)
