along came a Spider
A lovely gift from goodbyebird: a paid Dreamwidth account for 6 months! Which means... ICONS! Or userpics or whatever one calls those tiny squares nowadays. Among other things; I also plan to post pics of recent projects and write polls again, huzzah.
Spider-Man, yaaah. Having watched the most recent Tom Holland version of Spider-Man without seeing any of his previous films in the role worked just fine, actually. Since the film was less about his iteration of Spider-Man than about "You like Spider-Man a lot, don't you?"
A movie about how much we like Spider-Man movies is indeed fanservice, but this is reasonably well-done fanservice. Too long, of course. Too many codas, for sure. But a good time was had by all: both my family and the rest of the cinema audience.
Other than the one film, I've barely watched anything these last few days. First it was clearing the deck at work, so to speak, before Winter holidays. And since those began, I've been on a jewelry-making binge: taking apart now-unloved necklaces, experimenting with different design ideas. It's been fun!
