Hmm. I can get Battlestar Galactica episodes from iTunes the next morning, less than 12 hours after they air, but Veronica Mars takes 2 days? Why is that?
I woke up in a rotten mood this morning.
A seriously bad mood. Then I realized I hadn't actually been in a good mood this whole week so far. I wanted to crawl back in bed under the covers. Thank goodness *that* level of bad mood didn't last long. And I was very grateful that today was my turn to use the computer lab with my classes, because that was something I could handle. I'm also glad to have chocolate and carbs stashed away at work--I snuck handfuls of chocolate chips with pretzels periodically. Chocolate and carbs can cure a lot of ills.
Stupid stuff I was annoyed about:
-apparently not going on the France & Italy trip this summer
-felt too impatient this week and posted fic that wasn't ready
-annoyed at my own impatience
-annoyed at muse for not having good ideas to finish that fic before I ran out of patience
-the messy spots in my home... even though I'm the one who created the mess
-STILL MAD ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO HAVE LUNCH AT SAME TIME AS COLLEAGUES (it's just depressing eating by myself at a different time... I bring stuff to read now just so I don't have to talk to the crazy substitute teachers.)
-behind on grading quizzes
-behind on ironing clothes
-irritated that so many of my clothes require ironing. why?
Um... that's probably enough. Feeling less cranky now, and hoping & praying that the Pit of Despair won't be open again tomorrow morning. Sheesh.
