but just maybe Kara doesn't want Leoben's crazy stream-talking self to be the voice of the cylon. Heh.
That was totally the impression I got. Hee! ;) And I read that meta when I was doing Gnews. He does have a very different demeanor when he's around humans vs. other Cylons - though I think we saw some of that calm with Kara and Sam in "Faith." (I think Leoben's taken a fancy to Sam just because it's someone who actually listens to him. *g*)
And yet, the Eights seem to have very little power in this enclave of cylon survivors.
I forget where I heard this, but I think the Cylons defer to each other by number, with the Cavil's in first place - so the Eights are last. But hey, they have the numbers! Er. So to speak.
I hope you're wrong about Leoben! ... The hell
You know frak about writing dialogue for Laura Roslin.
BWAH! But really. That part bothered me because if you sub in the actual word, it doesn't work, does it? At least if she'd said "my friendship and trust mean frak-all" it would work. And don't get me started about "on your knees." I like to think Roslin's the type of woman who realizes you can be even more devastating using big-girl words, besides.
Kara's so excited to be given a chore by Roslin.
Aw, she was. It was really cute. ;)
At least her running away on Galactica wasn't accompanied by ominous laughter.)
I know! It's really freaky! And that little girl is so chubby and adorable too. It's disconcerting!
Just when she'd finally gotten off my "I will never trust you" list, she gets put back on it. (I really want to know if Hera sees the same thing--if that's what compelled her to leave their quarters.)
I vote Hera does. We already know she can see head!Six.
Athena - like I said in my journal, at least her sheer idiocy proves she's the human kind of untrustworthy rather than the Cylon kind?
McCreary and AJ kind of spilled the beans about the amputation, but yeah, even so.
Wow, you noticed the Significant Kara/Lee glance! You're good - I had to rewind a couple times after I heard other people talking about it, but he definitely looks at her. Aw! I noticed the significant Kara/Sam glance and her standing protectively in front of him on first viewing though. What? *adjusts tin-hat*
