but just maybe Kara doesn't want Leoben's crazy stream-talking self to be the voice of the cylon. Heh. That was totally the impression I got. Hee! ;)
Oh good, it's not just me, then! No one else said anything that I could find, so I wondered if I was just *way* too focused on Leoben and missing the point.
I forget where I heard this, but I think the Cylons defer to each other by number, with the Cavil's in first place - so the Eights are last. But hey, they have the numbers! Er. So to speak.
It's an interesting idea--if so, why were they designed that way? Who designed them that way?
That part bothered me because if you sub in the actual word, it doesn't work, does it? At least if she'd said "my friendship and trust mean frak-all" it would work. And don't get me started about "on your knees." I like to think Roslin's the type of woman who realizes you can be even more devastating using big-girl words, besides.
Ugh, I know. It's just not how Roslin talked before, even when she was dying the first time. And yes, the word frak in that context... hey, they could've used felgercarb. Heh. (Frak and felgercarb were both in the original series.)
McCreary and AJ kind of spilled the beans about the amputation, but yeah, even so.
Really? Was the blog up before the episode aired, or something else? I'm hopelessly out of the loop. Considering I don't even get to watch until the next day, that's probably just fine.
I noticed the significant Kara/Sam glance and her standing protectively in front of him on first viewing though. What? *adjusts tin-hat*
Oh, that was much more noticeable to me than the Kara/Lee glancing. The protective stance--awwwww.
