Wow... that was an absolutely lovely look at Cally. She's a character I've always been more or less ambivalent towards, though I know there's a lot of Cally hate and love in the fandom. But I found your take on her intriguing, especially with the last line:

(She shivers and doesn’t know why. She only sees her husband. She doesn’t see fangs and claws behind a mask.)

The sense of foreboding is awesome, and it makes me look forward to what will happen to the Tyrols and especially Nicky, who's now a half-Cylon.
