It's a very appropriate day for my next character: Wednesday Addams.

On the TV show The Addams Family she was appropriately macabre. Her favorite doll was missing a head (decapitated by her brother Pugsley). She writes poetry for her pet spider.

Two movies were made with Christina Ricci playing the goth girl.




Wednesday went to camp in the second movie. It wasn't a rousing success.



Well... I suppose that depends on the definition of success. Certainly she made an impression on her fellow campers.

Wednesday is unapologetically herself. She's also clever, very strong and incredibly loyal.

Oh, she's great. I never saw the series, but I was a huge fan of her in both movies.

Excellent choice! I, strangely, idolized this girl when I was younger! At least, I thought it was strange, until you pointed out her awesome qualities. I guess younger-me was pretty smart.

Wednesday is also the reason I love Christina Ricci to the end of time, in spite of "Black Snake Moan" and other crimes.
