Christmas wishes and gifts
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it!
I'm enjoying being inside while it's cold outside. No snow, alas.
I had two gift stories written for me by the time the Yuletide archives opened, both from the movie Up.
The First Somewhat-Annual Snipe Hunt. Young Ellie and Carl go on a snipe hunt. It is sweet and adorable!
Grandpa. Russell and Carl stay friends for a long time. Awwwww...
I love both of them; they were perfect to read on a cold Christmas morning.
If you feel like guessing the two stories I wrote, here are some hints: they're both in the same fandom, but for different recipients. The first story is gen, the second gen-ish with a bit of (unhealthy, unrequited) het. Oh, and one of my favorite female characters is in the first story, though she's not a main character. I'll screen comments here for guessing; if you're the first person to identify what I wrote, I'll... write you a ficlet. Or make a post and you get to dictate the topic. Or something.
