road trip report!: New Mexico picspam #1

I really do need to write about road trip #1. It was my first visit to Louisiana. BUT... I'm feeling much more inspired by the trip to New Mexico. I've been there once before, several years ago. It's still beautiful. I don't mind living where there are no mountains, but I do appreciate seeing them when I have the chance. Plus the weather was fabulous, plus we had a bit more time there than in Louisiana, plus I took pictures to post. (Yay pictures!) So voila: New Mexico picspam part one

BSG: three fluffy ficlets, fic rec

I had this idea over Spring Break for a small Kara/Leoben post-Maelstrom story. Then I read Eleusis by mercurial_wit and my tiny idea was sort-of there in a beautifully-written story that made the muse incredibly jealous, so she sat in the corner and sulked. (I'm not kidding about the jealousy. I haven't even posted a comment on it yet. sigh... I'll do it tomorrow.)

Result? I decided to write fluff. Fluffy fluff. I'm pretty sure I've written fluff before, but it was accidental. Like most of my weird stuff and short stuff (and stolen stuff), this isn't cross-posted anywhere. Happy fluff day to me! Also, this is utterly without redeeming social importance. (song reference, anyone?)
