Got some stuff written for my femme_fic story. One thing that helped: rj_anderson mentioned writing a scene as a play as a technique for getting past writer's block. For me it was both hard and useful--I hate writing dialogue. It's not easy. This exercise forced me to examine what key points need to be revealed through conversation rather than thoughts. Plus, y'know... actual dialogue for the story... a nice benefit. I still have lots to do, but at least I accomplished something other than staring at what I've already written.

Also, a ficlet: this ended up being a weird hybrid of two prompts: Sam, braid and the AU where Kara is raising Kacey. (Are y'all conspiring to keep me writing Kara/Sam forever? Where's the prompts for Gaeta, or Cally, or... someone else not Kara or Sam?) Anyway, it's... very, very fluffy. Sugary sweet. May cause cavities.
