(fic) writerly angst

Why can't I just write some Sam Anders angst with a side of angsty Sam/Jean? Why does my brain have to know things like When and where did the resistance find those military transport trucks? and Who died because of the meds Doc Simon tampered with?

Why must I include gratuitous mythology references in nearly every BSG fic I write? And why isn't my prose like Mia's? She got me to read an epic AU with Roslin/Adama (and bonus Kara/Lee), when I don't even care much about those pairings or that kind of setting. (It starts here: The Book of Pythia, five parts, complete.)

Dear Mia's writing muse, feel free to make a visit to me anytime.

And why am I reading someone else's fic rather than writing my own? Oh yeah, procrastination techniques. Heh.

Speaking of procrastination techniques and angsty cylons, I was thinking about making a Sam Anders picspam, but then I found Twenty-Five Reasons To Love Samuel T. Anders. Yay, Sammy!

You are too kind! No, for realsies - TOO KIND! I write silly drivel that is shamelessly self-indulgent and almost every AU just ends up with the BSG characters living super happily in California! WHAT? YES. I AM SO DUMB.

ALSO YOU WRITE CHARACTERS I COULD NEVER WRITE! PILOTS! SAMMY! I LOOOOOOVE YOUR WRITING! So there! Take that!!!!

:D :D :D

Also - Watch out for that Muse o' mine. She does mean things like bitch slap me with fabulous ideas while I'm in the middle of an epic crossover AU and trying to finish school. She means srs bsns.

Hey! Stop interrupting my pity party with your flattery and cheer!

heeeee!

Don't mind me. I'm in the woeful stage of "This story is NEVER going to end! I'll never post it, or any other fic EVER!" I'll get over it.

As for happily-ever-afters in California: There is nothing wrong with happily ever after! I think you earn them in the writing.

I have been such a bad cheerleader! I need to get back to my duties!

I like your fic. Always have. I remember a icon from some of the vidder. "Your vid is fine, you're just freaking out." Hee. I tell myself that frequently in the middle of creating. :-)

Maybe it's a chain. You read someone else's fic instead of writing your own. I read yours instead of writing my own. Someone reads mine . . .

Hah, the circle of life fanfic-writing. *laughs*

lol, because it seems to me you are a thinker who makes stories better for their integral details, (as opposed to me who forgets that events occurred and because of this, the unseen consequences).

And yay for the Sam love.

Yep Yep it's the big picture think that makes the stories rich and interesting. It also adds more angsty context to the angsty sex thereby revving up the gratification felt by characters and readers. Yeah, that's it, I'm sticking with that. I'm also writing this instead of fic, and I'm not even gonna to confess to what all I've been reading.

lol, find the details, get the plot, write the angst so we can be gratified Kore. :)
