rose_griffes: Leslie Knope loves her pancakes (pancakes)

the (now very short) TV (other than PofI) roundup

So Parks and Recreation 4.14 was called "Operation Ann," and we had another round of Galentine's Day! I'm a bit disappointed that Leslie's G-Day talk included time focused on those significant others; it doesn't quite seem to fit the spirit of Ladies Celebrating Ladies. Other than that, I was amused. Chris's music of DOOOOM at the dance was hilariously awful. Ben, Andy and Ron ran around Pawnee with amusing antics. April was sneakily helpful.

I don't have any strong feelings about the idea of Ann/Tom. Tom is always less obnoxious when in a relationship; I'm curious about how Ann would see him, though. He really does have a certain charm. Some of the time. *shrugs*

Leslie's waffle pendant (initially attached to Yachter Otter's neck?) was adorable.

The other TV show I have left: Fringe, "Making Angels." Astrid and other Astrid! Other Astrid wondering why Peter does all the jobs! (Hee.) Hm, hardly any Lincoln at all. I wonder when this was filmed? (Seth Gabel and his wife recently had their second child. Though this was probably filmed well before her due date.) Nicely interesting case of the week, with TSA dude-former professor. Clearly math makes you mentally unstable, right? Haha. Poor TSA dude's mother...

And our Astrid is an extremely accomplished and compassionate liar. D'awwww.

Wow, it feels weird to have only three shows to blather about. Fringe, Parks and Recreation and Person of Interest.

Oooh, speaking of that... any of you other Person of Interest watchers got any gen fic prompts to share about Detective Carter? I want to try and write some genfic with her before halfamoon is over.

Only three shows? That was me last year. I had Fringe, The Good Wife and The Big Bang Theory. That was all. I'm glad I added a few more like Switched at Birth and Hart of Dixie to my viewing list. I don't write them but they are enjoyable.

Fringe is hanging in there. Hey, you called her our Astrid but she's in the amber verse. Hmmm. :-)

I wonder if I should start watching something else, but then I'm caught by a fit of not caring. Heh.

Nah, it's too late. Season is in progress. Some new shows coming out in March, though. Besides you have Person of Interest! What could compare to that?
