Okay, Person of Interest viewers: how did Reese know that Moretti was being released from prison. 1) Did the Machine spit out Moretti's number? 2) Were Reese and Finch spying on Carter's work enough to figure out she was going to be there? 3) Or did they get Moretti's number and then find out about Carter planning to be there? Or something else?!
I'm trying to decide the most plausible answer. Reese did NOT seem surprised that Carter was waiting outside that jail, which leads me to believe that the second or third options are more likely. Not that he would admit anything to Carter; I'm sure Reese doesn't want her knowing exactly how much Finch is able to find outeven without his Magic Machine.
Who me, thinking about more fic connected to "Baby Blue"? *whistles innocently*
And finally a Person of Interest fic rec: if you've been reading blacktop50's other stories with Reese having a place to stay above an Indian restaurant, you'll probably like the most recent addition: An Early Spring, part one and part two. Carter's POV, and definitely Carter/Reese this time instead of gen. PG-13, under 4000 words.
