I like March, but I'm also tired of it.
March! Is almost over! Hurrah! I'm not sure why I'm putting exclamation marks everywhere! Maybe because this school year has been a continual struggle and I'm another month closer to it ending!
Yeah, that's probably it.
Anyway, this month included:
So. First two episodes of... let's go with TFAWS, I guess. A real mixed bag for me as audience. Both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are proven performers, and I like the characters they're playing. The writing is where things get messy for me. More specifically:
Where things were most interesting: Sam's family. The ongoing plot isn't bad, either; it's too early to tell, really. But yeah, mostly it's Sam's interactions with his sisters and nephews that are compelling. I do have some interest in Bucky's ongoing progress in rejoining humanity, but unfortunately, that comes with those therapy sessions.
Anyway. I'll keep watching for as long as I have access to Disney+. Which may not be all that long; roommate H never watches it, so she's probably going to cancel that membership and just pay for Hulu by itself.

Anyway, this month included:
- Spring Break (which was indeed a pleasant break)
- MY FIRST MEAL IN A RESTAURANT IN A WHOLE YEAR!
- that actually deserves the exclamation mark
- watching the first two episodes of The Falcon and Winter Soldier (more below)
- daffodils blooming from the bulbs I planted last fall
- A SHOW IN A THEATER! (dance students in the school auditorium--they’re quite good, in fact)
- shelled out the money for a pair of Dansko shoes and discovered that they’re worth the price, which is making me want MORE Dansko shoes
- bought a new-to-me Janome sewing machine (that I haven't had time to try yet, woe)

- the therapy sessions are just... illogical and beyond suspending disbelief
- the starting point of "these 2 men don't get along" is an uncomfortable place to be
- even the dialogue in other places is awkward at times
