just passing through

She-Hulk ended as it began: a bit of a mess, but fun. Will watch more if they continue.

Started Andor, and the praise for it is well-earned. It could still fall apart - I'm only halfway through season one - but I would be surprised by that. The writing is solid and it's a "trust the viewer" sort of show where the structure has to support a lot of weight. And does. I'm pretty much at *high-pitched shriek* levels of enjoyment right now, so I'm certain that I'll be caught up before the final episode airs in two weeks.

No books of note since my last post.

Ah, I initially watched Andor but the first few episodes put me to sleep. I tried to continue watching but the pacing is just too slow for me. I watched Tales of the Jedi instead. It was pretty good.

That’s good for you! Unfortunately the slow pacing didn’t work for me, so I checked out.

Yes, it’s animated. I do like that it’s set in the prequel era. I thought the episodes about Dooku were interesting.
goodbyebird: Comic: She-Hulk is looking mighty buff. (C ∞ mean green fighting machine)

She-Hulk was loads of fun, but I did not care for that mess of a finale. Still, very happy we got something fun and leaned into her comics a lot.

I’ve heard nothing but glowing praise about Andor, seems like it really sticks the landing.
