"I aten't dead yet."

I'm home again and alive.

The computer is home again and alive. I even have sound now (as of five minutes ago)!

The mice are definitely still alive. *sigh*

Too bad my sixteen-year-old cat seems uninterested in mice. The day I spotted the mouse in the pantry the cat wandered in the kitchen a minute later, glanced around and wandered back out.

Rose! You're still alive. The mice (ew, plural?) haven't gotten you! You have been missed! I hope you had a good trip. I do want to know how your pest situation goes but not the grisly details. Sorry. The last time someone on my reading list gave a play-by-play about mice, I had a nightmare about them. Not fun.

But I hope it's safe enough to use the computer! I don't know how you survived for weeks internetless. I am impressed. :-) And very glad you're back!

Well, the computer got fixed during this last short trip, but I didn't get to see my youngest brother... he may make it to my home next week, though.

Nice to 'see' you too! I should get to watch your vid soon! (Right now I'm still cleaning to make sure there are no remaining mousey trails.)

My 7-year-old cat is completely uninterested in our mice. Or "winter guests" as I like to call them. They eat right out of her bowl and she doesn't care. And yet, every time I look out the window, she's got a mouse or a bird or a mole clamped in her teeth. *eyes her* Silly critters.

*laughs*

Yeah, trust a cat to be totally contradictory. Maybe the outside rodents taste better?! *g*
