What's all this, now?

I have this idea for a fanfic about an OFC (strike one) and I'm thinking about writing it in second person (strike two). Oh, I almost forgot: it's hugely depressing, too, with implied character deaths (strike three).

Feel free to tell me why this is crazy. Or link me to some good examples of second-person in fanfic.

Hope we see the results!

It's eating my brain and I'm in idea-love and I want to spend all my time working on it... but I have work that keeps getting in the way! Ack!

Heh. It's a good thing I like my own ideas. I'll just call this 'the three-strike fic' for now.
Sometimes it still catches you by surprise--a flash of giddiness that you're working next to Samuel T. Anders. All of them, really--Sue-Shaun, Barolay, Hillard... names you used to hear on the wireless. You think for a moment how you'll tell your friends about this, then you remember. You and your friends are never going to watch vids of the C-Buc games together or argue about stats or whether or not Anders had a girlfriend and which of you he'd like better. It was stupid, really.

Ooh, I like this! It reminds me of the Common People challenge which was before my time on LJ. I can't really get into those fics for some reason. But a lot of them had unnamed OCs perfect for the second-person. (Unnamed on the show because they don't really exist. :-))

But I like this woman and how she talks to herself. She reminds me of someone . . . ;-) And now after your last fic, I'm worried about her. I hope she's not on Caprica!

Is there more? The e-mail is always open!
