random update

Hey, rap541 has finished her epic crossover fic 'Going Native' and you should all go read it now if you haven't already. It's got Gaeta as a stray from Star Trek: Next Generation, ending up on Galactica (and saving the day!). It's available on ff.net and on LJ. My knowledge of ST:NG is pretty limited but I found I was able to follow the plot easily anyway.

On a totally unrelated note, Australia is trying to kill us all, as evidenced by this post. The videos posted in the comments are great, too. (I'm torn between feeling terrified and being amused.)

I'm having trouble deciding which Simon Baker icon to snag. Though possibly I should just go watch the most recent episode of The Mentalist rather than staring at icons. I also haven't see Life or 30 Rock or Chuck or... whatever other show has been broadcast in the last week and a half. I did rewatch the pilot episode of Pushing Daisies while I was cleaning the living room.

eta: CBS, you are on my list. I don't want to watch snippets of The Mentalist, I want to watch the whole episode! AUGH!

And yes, I knew you'd find Simon eventually. I should just set you up with TV shows now, I know your type so well. :-) He's not my type, but sometimes it's okay to watch a show mainly for the pretty.

I'm so annoyed right now--I just tried watching The Mentalist and all cbs.com has are clips. No whole episodes. If that keeps happening, I won't be watching pretty pretty Simon Baker much longer.
