Got a fantastic comment on "Nowhere Left to Run" the other day. Here's part of it:

What I liked best about the story is how you managed to convey John's attraction to Joss without resorting to cliched "he couldn't tear away his stare from the beautiful blablabla" things. All of the moments were poignant, like the feeling of wanting to stay when the shadows played across her skin, or him being unable to hear what she's saying while he's in the pool with her. They all felt fresh and unobtrusive. Really very well done.

Pretty much a perfect example of a comment most likely to win my everlasting affection. ;-) (Well... for when I write het fic, at any rate.)
