daybreak777 has an interesting post about the nature of cylons, her trust (or lack) in them, etc. Oh, and in the second part she transcribes a lot of the "Cylon Bible" as seen in 'Life on the Cylon Baseship' a clip with interviews with RDM, some of the actors who play cylons, and others. The video is not spoilery beyond, oh, season three finale.

Is anyone else slightly vexed that the_wireless puts all those 100-word fics on the fic round-up? Or is that just me?

I've been peeking around online to see if I can get a good price for something fun during Spring Break. (Someplace where the college students don't go en masse.) Wanna help?

Yeah, that's a little annoying. When people play drabble-tag or do comment-porn battles, they don't link to each individual drabble.

I think it's more expensive to fly to the Virgin Islands than to Jamaica or Mexico! so you can't hate me yet!

Personally I wouldn't bother linking to a drabble-comm, unless I just linked to the whole comm. BUT I'm not the one making the posts, so I think I'll stop my complaining now. Heh.

I've been around since 02, but mainly I dropped a bunch because I'm sort of stepping back and burrowing into our little corner of fandom. We're not all that wanky, respect one another's differences, and have pie.

Although the Virgin Islands are awesome, too, they cost way more than Jamaica.

The problem is, all the Jamaica packages (hotel + airfare) have overnight flights. I *hate* overnight flights, and for a less-than-weeklong trip, I'm not really willing to put up with that. So we may end up in Mexico just by default.

I don't drink alcohol but the friend I'm traveling would be happy to hear about the rum cream. :-)
