HALP!

Just watched the Doctor Who episode 'Blink.'

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Gah, that was a pillow-hugging episode. (Yes, really. I had to go grab a pillow just in the opening scenes!)

That might have been scarier than Buffy's 'Hush.'

*takes deep breaths*

I think I'll watch it again!

AHAHAHA!

Seconding the EEEEEE! What else should we expect from the guy who wrote The Empty Child. ;)

But, yeah, it's kind of awesome.

Just rewatched. Seriously, that is one of the freakiest TV episodes I've ever seen (that wasn't explicitly gory).

Huh. I'm actually considering buying season three now. (Been watching DW so far with Netflix livestreaming.)

Dude, Blink is pretty much my favorite episode of Doctor Who EVER. Actually, it's probably one of my favorite episodes of TV EVER. It's all sweet and clever and funny, but FREAKY AS ALL HECK. I swear, I forgive Doctor Who for a lot of things solely for producing that episode.

:DD

I really enjoyed last season's no-Doctor episode (the one with Elton and his club studying the doctor) but this was a million times better. And scarier.

Billy the policeman! They did such a good job with both the dialogue and casting the parts, because I cared about him, in just the short time we saw him. (I'm glad he wasn't actually dead... just in the past.) And Cathy and everyone else.

I must be hard to scare, because while I found that episode creepy-cool (and "Hush" was okay in that regard too), it didn't scare me at all. But it was awesome, and I totally look at statues in a different way now. And probably will, forever.

That final montage of statues was cleverly done, yeah.

Not scared? I'm definitely reactive to monster potential... building tension... what's under the bed that we never see. Dun dun dun dun!

It is fantastic!

That episode TOTALLY freaked me out! I don't know how they made those statues seem so scary, but they were really creepy, I agree. Moffat is a genius.

So, sooo creepy! It was great!

We live just 2 blocks from the major town cemetary..every time we pass it, it is a contest to see who yells "don't blink" first.. we have also been known to do this in crowded theatres, during movies..we really probably spend too much time together for mother/teenage daughter..maybe..Blink is permanently on our tivfaux, though,I still jump when I watch it!
