I watched this week's Lost tonight and I have to say, that was an interesting introduction to Claire in the Island timeline. Lost very obligingly gives us occasional random jerks that deserve to be shot and then get shot, so I'm not going to shed many tears for redshirt A. Redshirt B seemed like a decent fellow, but... *shrugs* Sorry, dude.

So mysterious leader of temple-Others wants to poison Sayid? And Claire (or "Claire") is an example of what Sayid will become? Interesting. Or maybe not so interesting, because as a big fan of so-called free-will (moral agency is a nice term for it), I tend to find these sort of plot lines a bit too silly. We'll see where it goes.

This show lags a bit without John Locke and/or Ben (whatever his last name is, I forget). For me, anyway.

Hm... I really don't have anything else to say about this week. Not that it was bad, just sort of forgettable.

I liked red shirt B too. (I think he's injured and not dead, now that I think about it.) Hey, was he wearing a red shirt? That's crazy when that happens. Maybe it was just dark brown. :-)

Sayid and Claire were on screen! That's all I ask. And Sayid is still Sayid! For now. I hope Claire went all Rousseau out in the wilds. Because that would be kind of awesome. :-)

I need to watch Lost once all has aired. I watched the first two seasons and loved it, but then got sidetracked and lost track of it and now, I'm just going to wait until it's all said and done and buy the DVDs and mainline it. :P

But what I really wanted to say is, I'M SO FRAKKING EXCITED ABOUT BSG REMIX I CAN'T EVEN, I DON'T EVEN KNOW! *bounce* I've never read anything by the author you guys assigned me, but I can see just from the fic titles and usual main character that this is going to be SO MUCH FUN! :D

I agree with everything you said. I actually just don't really like Kate. And I don't care who she chooses- Jack or Sawyer. Especially now that Juliet is dead (because Sawyer/Juliet was AWESOME and might have surpassed Charlie/Claire for my OTP of the show, although I also have great love for Jin/Sun now.) But I'm SO glad to see Claire back. I liked her- she and Sun are my favorites of the female castaways. (Well, and Rose. Rose is AWESOME.)

And we are AWESOME! But I'm gonna have the same thing going as you. It's going to be SO obvious. ::Sigh::

My first reaction is YEAH! Then I start thinking about Aaron, and what would it take for her to abandon him... and it makes me think they're going to present her as having the 'infection' or whatever, too. Because the Claire we knew from before wouldn't have abandoned Aaron willingly by that point.

I actually just don't really like Kate.
I went through a long period of definitely not liking her. She's slowly getting back in my good graces, but then again, Jack doesn't appeal to me either. Or Sawyer, except when he's with Juliet (because yes, that pair was great). Honestly, none of the big leads are all that attractive in terms of their characters.

YES! I like all of them. Sun in particular is a fascinating character in all her different time periods.

I love the idea of maybe!evil!zombie! Claire. :) I like regular Claire too, but I think it'll be more fun to have different versions: 'good' Claire on the mainland and Totes!Evil Claire on the Island. And watching Sayid slide from his guilt-ridden self into Evil!Zombie-dom could be awesome! I embrace the crack with this show, I admit. :)

But yes, needs MOAR Evil!Zombie!John and Evil!Ben. And Richard. And I'd like Jin and Sun to FINALLY FRAKKING REUNITE ALREADY

I'm not sure what happened to Claire but but I'm really glad she'll actually be on screen so that we can see what happened to her. You're right she wouldn't have abandoned Aaron without a fight. Not the Claire I remember, anyway.

Now, you make me think it's about one of the neglected female characters you are the patron saint of! Hmm. :-)

I'm so glad you posted about the remix assignments, because the message went to my spam folder! But now I have it, YAY!!! I've actually never read anything by the author you assigned me, so this is going to be funfunfun. (And I can't wait to see what *I* get remixed of mine, wheeeeee!)
