Battlestar Galactica wasn't the only divisive show I watched for the past several years. (By divisive I mean the different (LOVE! HATE! RAGE!) reactions throughout the show and particularly to the finale.) I also liked Lost. And I watched all of it and liked it. Please note that I didn't say love, but it was always interesting.

I have no icons of female characters from Lost? And two of Sawyer, and I didn't particularly like him? Weird.

I'm feeling all nostalgic right now! Just one more (EPIC-SIZED!!!) episode of Lost. ( vaguely spoilery for recent episodes )

In case you watch Lost from a tiny cave and therefore haven't heard the news, the finale is two and a half hours long (really!) and it airs this Sunday 5/23, starting at 7 p.m. on the coasts, 6 p.m. Central.

I'll be watching online Monday, with some friends at my place. WHEEEE!

I don't have enough coherence in my thoughts about last night's Lost to make a post yet, and I don't have time to rewatch. So I'll do a couple of links and a brief moment of musing.

Lost is starting its fifth and final season on Tuesday, February 2. It's a two-hour premiere, preceded by one of those recap episodes. (At least I think that's right.)

I'm so excited! Lost is my social show--I have co-workers and former co-workers who love to discuss it. We're having a watchparty that night. Time for me to buy some Granny Smith apples in order to make apple crisp!

I've been seeing recs for Vividcon fanvids all over my reading list. I'm so smart for having added such smart people to my reading list! *g*

Marble House is a Doctor Who vid that focuses on the two parter 'Human Nature/Family of Blood.' It is chilling, as a vid with that focus ought to be.

Another Country focuses on Hurley (from Lost). It's an amazing view of a character who is often overlooked. Made me a bit teary-eyed.

To lighten the mood a bit, Swing! The original Star Trek has rhythm, yeah.

I've seen several recs for vids from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Since the show has finally moved to the top of my netflix queue, I'm going to hold off watching them until I've seen some episodes. (I do think that charmax's awesome BSG/T:TSCC vid is simply fantastic even without having seen the show.)

I have other things I want to write about, but if I don't mention these now, I may not post about them ever. So go forth and enjoy!

daybreak777 just posted a fic that you should go read! Silent Running. AU Kara/Lee and children (in jeopardy, so in spite of the assumed relationships it's not at all sweet and light). Few people get children's voices to sound right in fic--I'm ridiculously picky when I read and this story was spot-on.

Lost... oh, I'm having such a fabulous time with the show this season! I've been watching the episodes online the next day, usually with a friend. She's sick tonight, so I watched alone and actually wrote a few things down. As always, this is more for my benefit than anyone else's. Don't expect any deep thoughts, it's just me reacting.
