My new personal livejournal goal: at least two public, non-whiny posts for every whiny, friendslocked post. (Because I don't want to see only wah wah wah when I'm logged in and looking at my own journal.)

I have a sound file I'd like to embed on LJ. Any idea how I could do that? (I'd really rather not go to the trouble of doing a phone post again; that was annoying.)

Back to interesting women! I'd just like to state that a favorite female character isn't necessarily one I find to be, oh, a good role model. Or a moral person.

Had to get that out of the way before talking about Veronica Mars. ( pseudo-high schoolers should probably not be carrying Tasers )

Okay, so my piano recital is done. Off to work on Yuletide fic! Here's to hoping I can get the next 1000 words done by tomorrow night so I can upload it and send it off to beta-readers.

1) I just watched the season two premiere of Community and ( brief spoilery reaction )

I'm so amused that I was reminded about the show coming back on air by someone who lives across the globe from here.

Also, today I've been doing a Veronica Mars season three marathon/grading marathon. It's working out quite well, since I enjoyed season three as it aired (mostly) and it's entertaining, but I can still read student papers at the same time. And... dang, my bum bum (that's my new term for the 'broken butt') is kind of numb now. Ouch.

Also, it's way past bedtime. Night, all! I'll catch up on reading here on LJ tomorrow.

Anyone out there ever downloaded episodes of a tv show or movie from iTunes or another source? My only way to watch this week's BSG may be via the internet. I don't even know how soon after the original air date any episodes are available. Or how much they cost to download. Or how long it takes to download. Or how good the picture quality is. Hmmph.
