Doctor Who episode reaction post

Reaction post to Doctor Who, episodes 5.04 and 5.05. Usual hyperbolic rambling.

I seriously don't know what to say beyond EEEEEEEEE!!! and AAAAAAAAAA!!!! and from there proceed to internet abbreviations and generally flail incoherently. River Song! The Weeping Angels! Angel Bob! Poor Amy with her eyes closed! Amy the aggressor! The Doctor and his cluelessness!

Eleven is adorable. I love love love him. I want to be his bow-tie's new best friend. And Amy! Gah, I love how wrong she is, and that the whole season is about her wrongness and I am totally trusting the show to be using this now in good ways. Something is wrong with Amy, and it is completely FASCINATING and... ::flails::

And I really, really genship* Amy and Eleven, and it's killing me--KILLING me--not to read the Amy and Eleven fic because I'm so far behind on episodes.

*genship: see the comments on this post

Hee, Amy told the Doctor about Rory ("the other one") and goes after the Doctor and he's too busy figuring out how to save time and the universe. It is very amusing.

There are many awesome quotes from these two episodes. I was thinking about writing down some of my favorites but that would have involved pausing the show and I COULD NOT DO THAT. The Weeping Angels are scary! I was almost dead of the suspense! ALMOST DEAD!

(I did warn for hyperbole at the top.)

I want to watch all of the others I've downloaded so far, but since I'm buying them legally from Amazon US, we're about three episodes behind the UK. So I'd still be seeing people's posts about episodes I won't be able to see for a few more weeks. ::tragical sigh::

Suppose I'll watch some more Farscape instead. Or fix dinner. That might be a good plan, too.

I want to be his bow-tie's new best friend.

This made me giggle hysterically. And yes, those eps were quite grand and awesomely wonderful.

River! Amy! Eleven! I love them all! Scary statues with polite Angel Bob voices!

might I ask why are you being legal? Also you should check out www.casttv.com. It's like Hulu, but better, and legal as far as I can tell. I found nothing that screamed illegal to me, but there you can't own the episodes like you can with Amazon.

I'm not having to pay any money for cable or satellite, so I figure why not pay for one of the few shows I do want to watch. So even though I don't count for a live audience, I still count as a spectator and help pay for the program.

On hulu there are ads, and the audience is still counted; I have no problem watching there as well, for the shows I can get there. Haven't heard of casttv before. I'll see what I can find out. (One reason to avoid illegal watching/downloading: viruses.)
