FYI, television reception where I live is not great. No NBC, fuzzy reception for ABC, CBS and PBS. I've been watching a few shows online, so any show links are for the internet feed. (Dish Network and I had a messy breakup. Happily I have fast internet, so I've moved on. I can't say the same for Dish--he calls and whines on my answering machine and sometimes he tries sending me letters... it's just pathetic.)
I enjoy NBC's Chuck so much. It's fun. (Just watched the third episode, still adorable.) It's got action, humor and a really likeable, adorkable leading man. I'm not at the point where I feel like analyzing it or writing giddy meta about it, but it's a blast; I recommend it.
eta: Adam Baldwin's super-spy actually gets to be humorous at times--and not in a "he's such an ape, it's hilarious" way./eta
Yesterday I watched episode two of Life. ( no real spoilers, just a few observations )
While watching "Life" I was thinking about cop shows in general. ( brief thoughts on cops, shippiness, yadda yadda yadda )
Gave "Gossip Girl" a try but I couldn't make it through the first episode. Probably hazards of my profession. I may try "Pushing Daisies" or "Reaper" if I have some spare time soon--both sound interesting (though rather similar to each other in the premises). "Journeyman"--can't decide if it sounds like a brilliant premise or just plain stupid. I already watch one show with a confusing time frame (Lost) and I'm not sure I want to add another to my list.
eta: also watching 30-Rock and maybe My Name Is Earl online/eta
Now I have to go be productive for work. Bleah.
