Farscape first! So, I liked episodes one through ten, but it still wasn't must-watch TV yet. I skipped episode eleven--the online reviews seemed to indicate that it wasn't that great, and not really necessary for character development. My attitude changed during episode twelve, 'Rhapsody in Blue.' ( spoilers from 1.12-1.15 )
Shopping. *sigh* Usually I go on a new-clothes shopping spree in late July, because of the clearance sales. Things are marked down quite a bit right now, though, and more items are available in my size. So I shopped with some friends at an outlet mall today. My feet hurt. I'm tired of trying on clothes. But I did get some cute items for reasonable prices, so yay me!
Oh! One of the stores we were in had this device that scans you (as it spins around you) and spits out your measurements. I didn't really want to know that the fullest part of my bust was *that* small, but it is nice to have some precise information. Well... somewhat precise. The machine thinks I'm a good inch taller than I thought I was; I'll have to ask my doctor next time I'm there to find out what height measurement is on my chart. We each got $5 coupons just for agreeing to be measured, and I had already found a dress I was planning to buy that was on clearance. So I paid almost nothing for it when I used the coupon. Whee!
In unrelated news: it looks like I should be able to watch the mid-season finale of Battlestar Galactica tomorrow during the day, since it's streaming online at the top of the hour from 9 am to 4 pm (Eastern US time). That gives me plenty of time during the day to wrangle with whatever software updates I may need in order to watch the episode.
