links (Person of Interest)

First off, some links to stuff I've posted on tumblr this past month, all Person of Interest related. None of these posts are very long; tumblr is more about the pretty pictures.

Person of Interest = Two Batmans (Batmen?) (Gratuitously silly pic of Adam West included. He's holding a batarang!)

I’m watching the “Reese shoots guns and is intense and Carter arrests people and maybe shoots things too” show. The ridiculous(ly adorable) super-sekrit dates? Totally a bonus.
*sobs*

My disgusted review of someone else's review of an episode. Apparently these kinds of comments are a habit for this reviewer. (brief language alert at that link)

After blacktop50 pointed it out, I made two posts about Reese flirting with Carter via baby.

I'm still not sure I like tumblr enough to keep the account; it's fun, but the excess graphics cause problems even for my newer computer, not to mention how I'm still not that excited by endless posts of moving gifs. So I have hardly anyone on my watchlist there. Plus I really want to know this: how does Tumblr make any money?! Anyone have any idea?

Non-tumblr stuff, but still PoI. At some point I'll make another rec list, but for now, here's the Person of Interest fic tag from my online bookmarks. Most stories are on livejournal, but there are some from ff.net and AO3, so there may be something you haven't read yet. Mostly gen; characters listed in the tags and I tried to name relevant pairings in the descriptions. (My own stories are bookmarked there as well, because I like them.)

I can't deal with the Carter hate in PoI fandom. Being critical of her character and how she's been handled, that's fine. She doesn't set your heart on fire, that's fine, too. But so much of it is clearly thinly veiled misogyny (like that review you posted), which hurts my soul.

Ugh, yes, IT HURTS ME IN THE FEMINISM. And that particular recap, I just... I don't even get how anyone can keep reading that kind of crap. We're mostly women here in fandom, WHY DO WE ENCOURAGE THIS?!

*uses grumpy Nicolas icon* (Heh, I have very few icons to use when I'm cranky. I'm not sure if I should remedy this or not...)
