rose_griffes: Person of Interest on CBS (person of interest)

Quick TV-related update

Person of Interest fic: I posted Finch-Carter-Reese genfic yesterday: Three Sides, written for Liz for the We Get Carter mini-gift exchange.

Also, I added some more fic to my Person of Interest bookmarks. Some of them are only on AO3 and ff.net, so they might be new to you. I've been keeping up with character tags as well as fandom and rating. (Go me.) And wow, delicious.com has been like a desert lately. That "update" last summer lost them a lot of fandom-related users.

Battlestar Galactica fic: Someone remixed my very first story! Words is a remix of Prophecy with some post-finale Settlement-verse details instead of a modern world. I mentioned in my comment that it's like my brain blew up and threw all of the things I'm fascinated by into one story.

There are still stories being posted at BSG remix, by the way. We're almost done, so it's time to start the guessing games of who wrote what.

Hm, I wonder if there are any BSG fics in the multi-fandom remix this year? That went live either yesterday or today, I'm not sure which.

still TV-related, but not fanfic:

I caught up on Missing. It is still not particularly good, but highly entertaining.

On the other hand, I'm not caught up on Fringe. Currently one episode behind, and I'm debating whether I should just remain a week behind in order to watch the episodes for free. Fox posts them on hulu.com eight days after the air date. I've been buying the episodes the next morning from amazon.com, but I think I'm not invested enough now to continue doing that.

I still really like Leslie Knope and Ben Wyatt on Parks and Recreation. Yay, new episode! Ann's reaction to Tom's apartment was hilarious.

Ack, I forgot about Community. That show is an interesting phenomenon. It's grown so that the comedy is so much more character-based than it used to be--and that took time. But Annie and Abed? More of them, yes.

Finally, Tumblr! *shakes fist* It is the worst place ever when it comes to spoilers. I'm now just tracking Person of Interest, Missing and Martha Jones. And Jean Barolay, because angry red-heads with guns are awesome. (I may have learned something about Doctor Who and the plan for next season. I'm not certain. Oh, and I know Fringe spoilers for the episode I haven't watched yet.)

Gotta admit, Ann in Tom's lavish deeply-in-debt apartment was the first time I almost wanted to ship them. He was not in the scene. XD

*snickers* (Oh, Tom. I... I don't even know what to think about him. But he's certainly a memorable, interesting character.)

Oh believe me, I adore Tom as a character. But not sure about seeing him paired with anyone, lol.

There are three BSG fics there- very short. I haven't read all of them yet, but there aren't many. There seems to be a wide variety of fandoms this year!

I'm looking forward to seeing what fandoms are there... later this week, I suppose.

tumblr is definitely the worst for spoilers (just like twitter). And immediate ones, too, I have to avoid it at all costs on days when shows I watch are airing. Had to stop tracking most of my tags, too, for the same reason.

Funnily enough, so far I haven't minded being spoiled for Person of Interest stuff, but that's because the kind of spoilers (guest stars in future episodes, vague outlines of plot) aren't the kind of things that bother me. It's like reading TV Guide. Hmm... being a procedural show probably makes a difference, too.

Some of the Doctor Who spoilers are so character- and plot-specific that I'm annoyed to have information about them in advance. It's part of why I don't have many DW comms on my LJ reading list, either.
