So first there was the "I'm ignoring the internet to WRITE" stage, and then there was the "I'm ignoring the internet because I have no time to do otherwise" stage. I'm not sure when one turned into the other, but those days have come to a middle.

Possibly an 'eye of the storm' kind of middle, so I may be able to do some online reading and actual writing in the next few days before things get hectic again.

Speaking of that: I'm taking my mother to San Diego soon! Just because! (Well, we have friends to visit there, among other reasons.) Anything I should see there? I've been to San Diego once before, but this will be a longer visit with fewer people's schedules to juggle, so I have time to investigate cool things.

Also, if you have things I missed, feel free to link me. I may ask again after the post-middle stage. *grins*

I highly recommend the San Diego Zoo and my husband and I always enjoy checking out Old Town San Diego. If you'd like, I can check with my sister and her husband (they live there) for other recs.

I'm definitely planning on the zoo, yes. Hadn't heard anything about Old Town before, yay! And if you have a moment to ask your sister, that'd be cool too. (S'okay if you don't get to it, but I would definitely take any recommendations.)
