allergies or THE BLEURGH?!
(It's allergies. Ugh.)
Hey, they're doing another Man from U.N.C.L.E. fanfic exchange. Just thought I'd mention it in case any of y'all wanna sign up for it with me. 😄
Still working on my remix fic. I posted a draft before the deadline but since there's a few more days before reveals, I'm going back and polishing things.
-Interesting that our current president wasn't treated with hydroxychloroquine after that first positive test for Coronavirus. I thought that was going to be the magical cure, hmmm? In fact, no one in his medical entourage has mentioned it. I hope a reporter asks about it.
-WHY is the currently-sick and probably infectious president riding around in an airtight car when it isn't necessary? Why is he taking off his mask for photo ops back in the White House?!
-So far my school has only a few cases of confirmed COVID-19 infections. Very few. Of course, students and staff are required to WEAR MASKS, and I CANNOT BELIEVE KAYLEIGH MCENANY WAS PULLING OFF HER MASK TO TALK TO REPORTERS JUST YESTERDAY, and then oops, a positive test. Granted, the conversation was outside. But still! Ms. McEnany, you were exposed and should have been in quarantine!
-The CDC website has been updated AGAIN--we're back to airborne transmission. I hate feeling like the behind-the-scenes action is politically motivated, but it probably is. Why else the rapid changes in what's posted there?
-I hate using a tag for the virus and a tag for politics on the same post. This shouldn't be a political issue. It really, really is, but IT SHOULDN'T BE.

It's embarrassing that they didn't follow the science, though they should have.

I feel you. What a horror-show. I'm glad that mask-wearing continues to be compulsory in your school. My sympathies from across the Pacific Ocean.

Glad to hear the infection rate has been low at your school. Mike's program only has 40 students and is meeting largely online yet one of them has tested positive already this semester.

I have another student in quarantine (switching to synchronous online classes for two weeks) because he was exposed to someone who has a confirmed case. But so far none of my students have actually had the virus during the school year.

I'm glad there aren't that many cases of covid at your school; that must be a relief. I do feel like the CDC has lost...all? credibility this year? Almost all?
