L.A.W., Day 6: pictures!

I thought I was going to end L.A.W. with the fic I posted yesterday. But then I started looking at all these pretty picspams that [livejournal.com profile] daybreak777 linked to here (some links in comments) and I couldn't resist. So:

There is no theme here, other than me picking a bunch of pictures and uploading them. It's mostly in chronological order, so... go me?

Adama is trapped with a (really weird, gun-toting) stranger in the labyrinthine Ragnar Anchorage
Photobucket

Sickly Leoben is having a radiation problem. Not looking so good.
eyes

Leoben: "You can't kill me. I can't die."
Adama: "No, I can't die. I'm in the opening credits, you're just a guest star."
Leoben: "Aw, frak."
Photobucket

And he gets squished by Adama. Bye, Ragnar Anchorage Leoben!

Laura has very pretty dreams. My dreams need a cinematographer like hers.
Photobucket

Ah, the sweat theme. "They sweat just like us." Got it.
Photobucket

He checks out Kara, thinks he likes this assignment.
Photobucket

While Kara's talking to a live Leoben, Adama's talking to a dead one. Which is not at all creepy or worrisome. (I'll be relieved when he finally switches to smashing model ships.)
Photobucket

Torturing cylons is messy work.
Photobucket

I think this is the moment when I fell in character love. Drawing a line with your own blood, that's hardcore.
blood

Leoben's feeling a bit testy after being smacked around.
Photobucket

Awesome shot, totally freaked me out. Especially a second later, when that wicked grin spreads across his face.
Photobucket

Leoben is wet now. Which I find to be weirdly attractive.
Photobucket

Laura has another nightmare. Not the one about being naked in the hallways at high school, though.
Photobucket

I just really like this shot.
Photobucket

Inappropriate hugging of the President.
Photobucket

"Adama is a cylon."
Photobucket

*shoved into airlock* 'Was it something I said?"
Photobucket

Nothing like a long day of torture to forge a bond. (sometimes the logic of this show... nevermind)
Photobucket

almost time to cue the second Leoben death
Photobucket

Skip ahead a second (during which time Kara's hair grows really long)... then: this shot? Made me say, "EEEEEE!"
Photobucket

Leoben tries using flattery to woo Kara.
Photobucket

It doesn't go so well.
Photobucket

But that's okay, he's feeling magnanimous and forgives her. Heh.
Photobucket

He brings her a baby! Yay! (Seriously, Leoben + toddler = incredible cuteness.)
Photobucket

'Cept Kara doesn't seem so happy with her present.
Photobucket

She already broke her new toy? That's it, he's not getting her any more gifts.
Photobucket

Then we get the whole kissy-kissy-stabbity stab scene. (Yeah, I have really mixed feelings about that kiss. Hot? Yeah. Creepy? Definitely.)
Photobucket

kiss

"How can she be so mean to him? He gave her steak!" (line stolen from Allie)
Photobucket

Artistically dead across the floor. How many times did the centurions have to scrub bloodstains out of this carpet anyway?! Maybe next time he'll try putting in a darker neutral for the flooring.
Photobucket

Disco!Basestar Leoben looking fine in the flashing red lights. I couldn't find a pic of the Leoben wearing the shiny disco shirt... but I didn't try very hard, either. Heh.
Photobucket
As pleased as I was to have more Leoben onscreen, those cylon-to-cylon chats aboard the basestar were boring. *yawns*

Oh rats. Accidentally stumbled across a shiny shirt pic. Now I feel compelled to include it.
Strike the pose.
Photobucket

"No, Richard Gere is NOT a better dancer than John Travolta! Shut it, D'Anna!"
Photobucket

"Hey, Six, how YOU doin'?"
Photobucket

Dead again. On Galactica this time--his corpses do get around.
Photobucket

Promo!Pic Leoben, who made me write my first crackfic. Then he got cut from the episode. *sigh*
Photobucket

The infamous paint scene.
Photobucket

It amuses me that the paint helped cover Callum's arm tattoo in this shot.
Photobucket

I'm going to say it again: gratuitous. (but still hot)
Photobucket

Kara's hallucination of Leoben as she spirals into the Maelstrom. Who is this guy?
Photobucket

She said he wasn't Leoben; I have NO IDEA what he is. But he's pretty.
Photobucket

'Cept I kinda want to force him to shave and redo his hair. Hm.
Photobucket

In conclusion: Callum Keith Rennie is yummy has awesome onscreen charisma.
THE END

Most of these pictures are from bsg-caps. Some are screencaps I made.

"Hey, Six, how YOU doin'?"
This was hysterical! I keep giggling. He does like red, doesn't he? You seem to have had fun with the pics and the week. It was a great week! Thanks for the discussions too.

*back to word mines*

Aw, thanks! It was fun, though incredibly time consuming. I'm glad I had most of the stuff (aside from fic and picspam) pretty well done before this week got here.

Okay, if anyone had asked me if it was possible to make a funny pic-spam about Leoben I would have told them they were seriously deluded. Now I'm thinking I might have been the one with the delusions and prejudices. I stand corrected.

This is hilarious, hands down.

(All of these posts look wonderful and interesting. I have only browsed most of them, but I have bookmarked them for a rainy day).

I'm glad you were amused. The picspam was the easiest part of the whole week, in spite of the time it took to find the pictures and upload them for my use.

I can totally emphasize with the time-consuming nature of putting something like this on. I really want to do a BSG appreciation week RFN but I've already committed to one other rather time consuming endeavour posting-wise, so I'm shelving it for later (maybe, if life can give me a break any time soon)
