They're stuck on my head and I can't get them off!
I was rewatching Ultraviolet (episodes 4-6 only, since the first disc is already back in Netflix's tender care) and... I own shippy goggles. I didn't know I had them, but I do. Angie/Vaughan! He's pining, y'all. PINING! And she's repressing it! I had no idea I could be so enamored of a (totally unrequited) romantic pair on an ensemble show. Everything that happened is now subject to interpretation of how it affects Angie/Vaughan. IS THIS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHEN YOU HAVE A FAVORITE PAIR?!?! Gah! I'm glad I didn't know I had shippy goggles before now--what a pain!

I THINK IT IS.
Heh, I'm going through a weird shippy thing myself. I was seized by a fit of Buffy nostalgia and would up reading season seven recaps, and was caught by the barely-there awesomeness of Faith/Robin. *does not say Faith/Wood* And last night I actually went looking for fluffy post-series ship fic. o_O
But normally a relationship has to be really canon, as in married, before I get sucked in. So I can only imagine what a pain it is to ship the UST. :/

What's worse is there's NO fic for them. NONE. I've looked everywhere I can think of--even the UV yahoo group. (There's not a lot of fic, period--not a surprise since there are only six episodes.)
But yes, I definitely go for super-canon ships, usually. If I go for a pair at all...

Yes, this is what it's like. :-) I think everyone has shippy googles. Just takes the right ship for people to put them on.
Give in to it!

NOOOOOO! *fights to surface, is pulled back by whirlpool of pining DOOM and UST*
Heh. What's really annoying is that with such a tiny fandom, there's almost no fic. Of any kind. And there's no Angie/Vaughan fic at all.
Heh, if I do write this pair, I can call it the definitive Angie/Vaughan fic. The One True A/V fic.

(I really do think I have to watch this again soon!)

I, uh, think I have to buy it from deepdiscountdvd.com. Good grief.

And they are British. Stiff upper lip and all that. Too bad.
Write the fic!
