tv and odd dreams
I had a TV-related dream last night. It's been a while since that happened. Apparently my brain thinks a Parks and Recreation/Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover would be great! In my dream, Ben Wyatt came to Pawnee to act as Watcher for an OC* slayer. But wouldn't it be way more awesome if April were the vampire slayer?! The dilemma would be whether or not to tell Andy and Leslie. Neither seems particularly secretive.
*Hee, my dream-brain created an original female character. This amuses me a whole lot.
Anyway. I want this to exist now.
Possibly I dreamed about Parks and Recreation because I watched episode 4.09 last night and sat around laughing and smiling for a loooooong time, then went to the Leslie/Ben comm and watched the two deleted scenes and laughed and smiled some more.
"The night we returned was the first time we kissed on each other's mouths. It was excellent." Ahahaha, oh Leslie.
Funny, we were just talking about whether or not we would hear "I love you" sometime this season. I didn't expect it would be the very next episode. Now it's part of the official government record; Leslie has to be pleased about that, considering her previous attempts to get things on the record.
In spite of loving the episode and being in a giddy mood afterward, later I was saddened by the though that Ben and Leslie woudn't be working together anymore. Oh, and that Ben and Chris wouldn't be working together either, which is TERRIBLE! Ben and Chris have the best scenes together at work! Nooooooooo!
Speaking of Chris, I quite liked him in this episode. He's more interesting when motivated by ethics and principles. And also friendship; it pleases me that Chris was looking out for his friend as well as trying to run his part of the government well.
As much as I love Leslie and Ben (and Leslie/Ben), I'm ready for some other stuff to happen in the next episodes. Ben and Leslie do need to keep kissing, though. *nods head*
Why no new Person of Interest this week?! *grumbles*
Possibly I should get out the Christmas decorations. Or do some writing for Yuletide. Or... lie down and listen to the rain hit the roof until I fall asleep. Hm.
