I had a TV-related dream last night. It's been a while since that happened. Apparently my brain thinks a Parks and Recreation/Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover would be great! ( Er... maybe? )

Anyway. I want this to exist now.

Possibly I dreamed about Parks and Recreation because I watched episode 4.09 last night and ( spoilers )

Why no new Person of Interest this week?! *grumbles*

Possibly I should get out the Christmas decorations. Or do some writing for Yuletide. Or... lie down and listen to the rain hit the roof until I fall asleep. Hm.

WIIIIIIIIDE awake. Don't know why. Except maybe it was the fact that I slept in until nine a.m. this morning. (I'm not even sure how I accomplished that.)

So I had this really weird dream last night, in which Callum Keith Rennie was living at my parents' house. At one point I was explaining to him how bricks were made. I DON'T HAVE ANY EXPLANATION FOR THIS except random inexplicable manifestation of my CKR crush. And apparently my inherent desire to tell everyone lots of stupid trivia.

I should go read [livejournal.com profile] bsg_bigbang fics while I'm not sleeping. Instead I'm looking at all the pretty rings that I waaaaaaaaannnnt ("Dear Santa, I have been very well-behaved this year. Even in my dreams.")

Speaking of Doctor Who and wolves (not werewolves, though), I just read three fantastically creepy fanfics from that show. Dark and scary and the stuff of nightmare fairytales.

Do I Twist, Do I Fold starts with "What if Rose Tyler had met the Master while she was traveling with the Doctor?" It's about as horrifying as you'd imagine.
Good Night follows up with the Doctor dreaming.
Of Monsters revisits Rose as the Bad Wolf, dealing with that and with what happened in the first story.

Of course, now I can never write again. *dramatic sigh*

Earlier this week there were many posts of shirtless Jamie Bamber in an ad for PETA. It was pleasant, but not exactly something I paid a lot of attention to... or so I thought.

I woke up at 5:20 a.m. I was dreaming that I was teaching and had decided to show a streaming video without previewing it. It had bits of nudity. There was a parent in the classroom when this happened, and she left the room in a huff with her son, refusing to listen to my apologies.

*freaks out*

No, I would never show a video without watching ahead of time. Oy, stupid dream-brain. (And when's the last time I even had a parent my classroom during class?!)

I have a friend who lost her job over showing a rated-R movie in her classroom. This is serious stuff in my school district.
